Fabulously handcrafted Kenyan dog & cat collars, & bespoke belts that are totally unique.

20% of all profits are donated to The Tsavo Trust.

Leboo Life is the UK’s leading supplier of quality beaded leather collars and belts, all products we very carefully select from ethical sources within Kenya.

The dog / cat collars and belts are hand-stitched by the Maasai Mama’s in enkangs (Maasai village of family homes) in the countryside surrounding Nairobi.   Every aspect of the collar making process is carried out by hand by the native people meaning that not only is every collar totally unique but each one directly contributes to creating a better future for all involved through financial stability.

Two types of premium quality leather are used to craft the collars and belts; cow hide is used for the outermost material providing durability combined with elegance, soft goat skin is used on the underside providing comfort for the wearer, both are sourced from a local tannery.   The buckle and D-ring are fabricated nearby using hot rolled reclaimed brass.   The beads are the only imported items (as are the majority of the beads in Kenya), there are imported from Czech Republic.

20% of profit is donated to The Tsavo Trust, a Kenyan non-profit organization, working in support of wildlife, habitat and communities in Tsavo, Kenya.   Click here for more details about The Tsavo Trust.

We have 5 “core” designs and run “limited edition” designs for special events, currently we have the Endana collar on offer to celebrate the launch of Leboo Life.   Each collar design is also named using Maasai inspiration, with the meanings given, with Endana meaning “Beloved” or “One Loved Unconditionally”.

Length measurements are given in inches.

All of our collars have 5 holes.   The “length” is the measurement from the central hole to the leather at the buckle end; this should correspond with the measurement of your dogs neck.   Sizes are in 2 inch intervals, starting at 10″ and going up to 24″.   If your dog is in between 2 sizes we suggest you chose the size closest to the length you require, if the measurement is exactly in the middle of 2 sizes we recommend you select the smaller size as the collars will stretch slightly.   If at all worried please send us an email and we can advise.

Please note that as these collars are all individually hand made the lengths can vary by up to 1/2″ in either direction.
